FROM TALLAHASSEE TO THE W
Date: November 5, 2011
Before becoming a WNBA champion, All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year, Natasha Howard made her name in Tallahassee. The 6-foot-2 forward anchored the Seminoles from 2010 to 2014. She owns two single-game milestones that still stand among the best in school history: 40 points at Syracuse on February 13, 2014, tied for the most in a single game, and 22 rebounds against Duke on January 23, 2014, tied for third-most all-time. Selected fifth overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, Howard carried her Seminole foundation into a professional career defined by defense, energy and multiple championships.
