FOR THE LONG HAUL
Date: September 1, 2005
Defender Kelly Rowland spent all four seasons of her college career with the Seminoles, leaving a significant mark on the program. Serving as team captain her final two seasons, Rowland led the team to two College Cup appearances and a national runner-up spot. She started all 96 games in which she appeared and ranks high on the program’s lists for goals, assists and points. The country took notice of her footprint with the Seminoles, as she earned a nod as a First-Team All-American during her senior season in 2006. When asked about her time in Tallahassee, Rowland said, “I am so happy with the way my career has unfolded here at Florida State. I wouldn’t change anything. I have no regrets.”
