Hugh Durham’s animated style was a constant on the Seminole sideline. He served as head coach from 1966 to 1978, compiling 230 wins over 12 seasons and finishing with a .708 winning percentage. Known for his fiery presence and relentless competitiveness, Durham demanded toughness and accountability from his players. His leadership carried FSU to their first NCAA Tournament appearances and culminated in the 1972 run to the National Championship Game, cementing his legacy in Tallahassee.
