DIGGING INTO THE LINE
These game-worn cleats belonged to Alex Barron, one of the most dominant offensive linemen in FSU history. Towering at 6-foot-7 and 315 pounds, Barron was a two-time consensus All-American and a cornerstone of the Seminole offensive front in the early 2000s. His imposing presence and nimble footwork helped protect quarterbacks and open lanes for running backs during FSU’s sustained run of ACC dominance. Barron’s excellence in Garnet and Gold led to his selection as the 19th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. These cleats show signs of wear from the battles fought in the trenches — emblems of a player whose athleticism and technique earned him praise from teammates and coaches alike.
