Junior G Courtney Ward brought a balanced game as the Seminoles won their second ACC regular season co-championship (shared with Duke) in 2010. During the 2009-10 season — in which FSU finished 12-2 against ACC opponents — Ward averaged an ACC-best 5.6 assists. She also led the Noles with 68 steals and averaged 10.7 points, good for third on the team. Ward shined against conference rivals, setting a career record (since broken) with six 3-pointers against Virginia and a pair of 10-assist games against Clemson and Georgia Tech. At the end of her career, Ward had the most 3-pointers (208) and assists (602) in program history.
