CAPPING OFF THE ACC TITLE

This 2018 ACC Champions hat represents FSU’s conference title during a season that culminated in the program’s first NCAA softball National Championship. The Seminoles finished the 2018 season with a 58-12 record and went 21-3 against ACC opponents, underscoring their dominance throughout conference play. FSU capped their ACC run by winning the ACC Tournament on May 12, 2018, by defeating Pittsburgh, 5-4. Under head coach Lonni Alameda, the conference championship served as a critical step on the road to Oklahoma City, where the Seminoles carried that momentum through the Women’s College World Series and claimed the national title.
