A RECORD-SETTING PERFORMANCE

Future Heisman-winning QB Chris Weinke matched a Seminole record during the team’s final home game of the 1999 season by tossing six touchdown passes, including three to WR Peter Warrick, in a 49-10 rout over the Maryland Terrapins. Weinke’s dominating performance allowed backup QB Marcus Outzen to take over the reins late in the third quarter. This win secured FSU’s 13th consecutive 10-win season.
