A GOLDEN NOLE

In 2021, captain Jaelin Howell guided FSU to their second National Championship victory in four years. An anchor of the defensive line, Howell led a defense that averaged only 0.5 goals allowed a game. The All-American midfielder also won a Golden Nole Award, highlighting Howell’s contributions to the team as well the Tallahassee community. After her Seminole career, Howell was drafted second overall in the 2022 NWSL Draft to Racing Louisville FC.
