OCKENE SAVES HER BEST FOR LAST

Nine Stanford shots reached the target. None crossed the line. In the 2025 College Cup Final, goalkeeper Kate Ockene delivered a career-high nine saves as the No. 6 Seminoles defeated the No. 1 Cardinal, 1-0, at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The freshman recorded 20 of her 30 season saves across six NCAA Tournament victories and finished 9-0-3 with five shutouts and a 0.67 goals-against average. Her title-game performance earned College Cup Defensive Most Outstanding Player honors — a fitting reward for the goalkeeper who saved her finest game for the biggest stage.
