TOTAL ACC COMMAND

Every ACC opponent lost by at least 26 points to Florida State in 1993. The Seminoles swept the conference for a second consecutive season, outscoring eight ACC opponents 391-51 on their way to another 8-0 record. The run featured three home shutouts: against Clemson, 57-0; Georgia Tech, 51-0; and Wake Forest, 54-0. FSU completed the ACC title campaign with another blowout victory, defeating NC State, 62-3, at Doak Campbell Stadium. Led by QB Charlie Ward and LB Derrick Brooks, the sweep supplied the conference foundation for coach Bobby Bowden’s first National Championship team.
